I got this on a whim and was surprised at how much I'm using this. I placed half an avocado, sealed it for 40 seconds, threw it in the fridge and forgot about it for a week. Found the avocado, popped the seal lid and found it fresh with barely any oxidation! I've read that this is best used for dried goods or fruits/veggies, but I've sealed things from homemade lemon curds to soups with no issue. Just have to make sure to keep a 1.5 centimeter air gap from the top of the jar

Very easy to use. Very little cleanup required, unless you're just a sloppy user. We vacuumed multiple canned items from apple butter to Blackberry jelly. Worked well each time. Great value for your money. Not very noisy either. Feels like it's supposed to, with that having to use the bath water old-fashioned style canner
